Malaysia Country Representative, US-ASEAN Business Council
Prior to joining the Council in May 2013, he ran a privately owned international business development company in Seattle, Washington. With extensive business experience of 20 years, Ezani has directed efforts for American companies to create a presence in Southeast Asia. Earlier in his career, Ezani worked for global oil and gas company BP, involving strategic planning for the Asia Pacific region in Singapore, chemicals marketing in BP’s headquarters in London and petrochemicals joint venture development of BP-PETRONAS in Malaysia. In 1999, he joined a Malaysian corporation to expand its aerospace composites manufacturing in the United States, providing leadership in sales and marketing to top tier aerospace companies in the industry. In addition, he led the corporation’s Malaysian government relations with the Treasury, Ministry of International Trade and the Prime Minster’s Office.
Ezani Mansor holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Sussex, both in the United Kingdom. He is proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia, and has basic conversational Mandarin.
